United Airlines launches Nonstop San Francisco-Taipei Flights

United Airlines has strengthened its international network with the launch of daily, nonstop passenger and cargo service between San Francisco and Taipei.

United Flight 871 departs San Francisco International Airport at 12:41 p.m. Thursday and lands in Taipei Taoyuan International Airport at 5:10 p.m. Friday, local time. United Flight 872 departs Taipei at 12:10 p.m. and arrives in San Francisco at 8:24 a.m. the same day.

United will operate the combined passenger and cargo San Francisco-Taipei service using a B777 aircraft configured with 10 United First seats, 45 United Business seats and 198 United Economy seats, including 84 Economy Plus seats that offer up to five more inches of legroom. With the B777 aircraft, United has the capability to carry about 20 tons of cargo per flight between the United States and Taiwan.
