New Year Packages at the Orchard Hotel Singapore

The Orchard Hotel in Singapore has put together the following selection of special festive packages for the New Year.

New Year's Eve Countdown Party  (Clock Tower): Dance the night away at the grand lobby with a dynamic live band performing the latest hits from a centre-stage located right under the hotel's nostalgic Clock Tower. At midnight, the entire lobby will be showered with colourful balloons as the hotel's ‘noisy’ chefs make merry on their pots and pans to usher in the New Year with a bang…literally!

The Countdown Party at the Hotel Lobby takes place from 9:00pm – 12:15am at Sin$30 nett per person, while the Countdown Party at Intermezzo Bar is from 9:00pm – 12:00am at Sin$60 nett per person (with seating). Both packages are inclusive of a glass of sparking wine, wine or beer, party hat and novelties.

The Orchard Café (Lobby Level): is brimming full of delectable goodies this New Year with its Buffet Lunch and Dinner spread which includes Fresh Salmon Sashimi, Cold Crayfish, Live Oysters, Pan-fried Foie Gras with Raisin Compote and Salad, Baked Salmon with Spinach in Brioche Dough and other Festive favourites.

Available at the Dessert buffet is a selection of New Year Cookies, Panettone, Traditional Pastries and Ice Cream which the entire family can enjoy.

The New Year’s Eve Buffet Lunch is from 12:00pm – 3:00pm at Sin$46 per adult and Sin$25 per child, while the New Year’s Eve Gala Buffet Dinner is from 6:00pm – 10:30pm at Sin$90 per adult and Sin$47 per child.

The New Year’s Day Brunch is served from 11:30am – 3:00pm at Sin$78 per adult and Sin$41 per child, and the New Year’s Day Buffet Dinner is from 6:00pm – 10:30pm at Sin$62 per adult and Sin$33 per child.

The Hua Ting Restaurant (Level 2): Tantalise your tastebuds with mouth-watering Cantonese cuisine prepared by award-winning Group Master Chef Chan Kwok and his team of chefs. Savour its signature Crispy Double-boiled Baby Superior Shark’s Fin in Shark’s Bone Cartilage, or enjoy other favourites like Roasted Whole Golden Suckling Pig and Braised Sliced Abalone with Mushrooms & Seasonal Greens.

Hua Ting New Year’s set menus are from 11:00am – 2:30pm for Lunch and 6:30pm – 10:30pm for Dinner at Sin$138 per person (minimum 2 persons) and Sin$888 for 10 persons.

La Terrasse (Level 2): offers an elegant Afternoon Tea with a wide array of cakes, pastries and chocolates, and you guests may wrap it up with the International Buffet Dinner on New Year’s Eve or the much-lauded Porridge Dinner on New Year’s Day.

The Afternoon Tea takes place on New Year’s Eve and Day from 2:00pm – 5:00pm at Sin$38 per adult and Sin$21 per child. New Year’s Eve International Buffet Dinner is served from 6:30pm – 10:30pm at Sin$90 per adult and Sin$47 per child. New Year’s Day Porridge Dinner is from 7:00pm – 1:00am at Sin$26 per adult and Sin$15 per child.

All diners will receive novelties and party hats on New Year’s Eve (Dinner).

Festive Accommodation Package: Enjoy a one night’s stay in a Superior Room with free entrance to the hotel's Countdown Party. The package includes the first round of house pouring wine or beer with snacks, novelties and party hats, Buffet Breakfast for two persons, and a pair of Movie Passes.

The Celebration Countdown Party Package is Sin$288 per room per night (top up Sin$30 to be upgraded to a Deluxe Room) and is only available for check in on 31 December 2007.
