Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Wednesday, 10 October 2007

The Taba Heights Golf Resort, a leading golf destination in Sinai, is to launch special overseas coaching schools for ladies this winter at the  World Travel Market (WTM) in London.

Teaming up with PGA Professional and coaching specialist Debbie Day, the new Taba Heights ladies only coaching schools will make the most of the resort's stunning desert style course, year round sunshine and panoramic views across the Gulf of Aqaba.

The courses are aimed at those who already have some playing experience and basic knowledge of the game but who feel they would benefit from being coached in a relaxed way by a female golf professional, surrounded by excellent hotel and golfing facilities. The areas of the game which are specifically targeted for improvement include: power, consistency, the short game, driving and fairway wood shots, course management, specific individual weaknesses and individual personal mental strategy.

PGA Professional Debbie Day, said, "As more women look for something special from their golfing holiday this new coaching course hits the mark perfectly in terms of content, facilities and venue. It is not only excellent value for money but also a great way to build new relationships."

Paul Oliver, General Manager Taba Heights Golf Resort, added, "We are delighted to establish this working relationship with Debbie Day; an excellent professional with vast knowledge of the golf swing and in particular what golfers need to improve. I am sure her coaching holidays will be highly successful, not only for Taba Heights Golf Resort and Debbie Day but for all the lady golfers who visit Taba Heights too."

For every booking received, Taba Heights Golf Resort and Debbie Day will make a donation of 10 to Cancer Research UK. The current coaching dates are: 3rd and 10th November, 8th and 15th December and 12th and 19th January 2008.
