The 460-room hotel is adjacent to the newly opened Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, 20 minutes from Guangzhou’s Huadu Commercial District with easy access to the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Guangzhou’s new airport is expected to handle up to 27 million passengers annually, based on two parallel runways with a total capacity of 52 flights per hour. Opening rates at the Novotel Baiyun Airport Guangzhou start from 588 RMB ++ per night (US$75), valid until 15 March 2007.

Novotel Baiyun Airport Guangzhou features state-of-the-art guestrooms including 45 luxuriously furnished suites and two Biz Floors with comprehensive in-room facilities including high speed Internet access. It caters to southern China’s fast growing meeting and event markets with a spacious, pillar-less ballroom, another large multi-purpose meeting room and 13 function rooms. A modern business centre, outdoor pool and a superbly-equipped fitness centre, plus an extensive spa and wellness complex await guests staying at Novotel Baiyun Airport Guangzhou.

The hotel is aiming to establish itself as the airport’s premium dining area with four restaurants and a bar. The hotel’s all day dining outlet, U8, serves a variety of popular Western and Asian dishes from an open show kitchen a la minute, while showcasing world cuisine with monthly food promotions and specials. Authentic Cantonese and Shanghai cuisine is offered at Tian Yuan, while guests can enjoy a large selection of cakes, pastries, fine wines and snacks at Societe. The innovative ChocoJava & LinQ Café offers a casual setting for light meals and beverages during business meetings. The hotel’s Rainbow Sound n’ Drinks lobby bar adds a perfect venue to unwind and relax.

Novotel Baiyun Airport Guangzhou is Accor’s third major airport hotel opening in Asia in the year starting with Novotel Citygate near Hong Kong International Airport in April 2006. This was followed by Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel in Bangkok in September last year.
