Etihad Airways opens Abu Dhabi and Dubai city centre check-in Facility

Travel News Asia Tuesday, 9 May 2006

Etihad Airways has opened a new city centre check-in facility in Abu Dhabi and another in Dubai.

The new 24-hour facility allows Etihad passengers to securely check their baggage in and obtain their boarding passes, without any of the distractions that can occur at an airport.

"We want to make sure that Guests travelling with Etihad Airways have a relaxing experience before, during and after flying with us regardless of the time of day that they are travelling," said Geert Boven, VP Commercial, Etihad Airways.

The new facility is expected to be a welcome addition for Etihad Airways' passengers because the new service will afford them more time to conduct business, shop or even dine at the city's numerous restaurants before a long flight.
