Accor Asia Pacific's Sydney office takes control of its six flagship hotels in French Polynesia

Travel News Asia Tuesday, 9 May 2006

Accor Asia Pacific's Sydney office has recently taken over complete control from Paris, of all operations, for its six flagship hotels in French Polynesia.

Among other, this includes the iconic Sofitel Marara on the lagoon island of Bora Bora - (built to film the movie the Hurricane) - which has just undergone a total re-building and refurbishment to bring it up to world's best 5 star standards.

The Sofitel Motu will also soon receive the refurbishment treatment, and follows after the completion of Sofitel Moorea's re-build and redesign.
