Radisson Water Garden Hotel Dhaka officially opened by Prime Minister of Bangladesh

The Radisson Water Garden Hotel Dhaka was officially inaugurated on Sunday by Begum Khalida Zia, Honorable Prime Minister, Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh, at a ceremony held at the hotel.

The hotel, which will open to the public on Saturday, February 11, is located on Airport Road, Dhaka, just five kilometres from Zia International Airport and adjacent to the diplomatic area of the city and the emerging commercial centre of Gulshan, Baridhara and Banani.

The 206-room hotel is situated on more than seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and features a modern interior design and architecture, an outdoor tennis court, world-class health spa, well-equipped fitness centre, jogging track, swimming pool, and access to a nearby golf course.

The contemporary hotel has been designed to meet the specific needs of the business traveler and features 206 well-appointed rooms, including five suites. All rooms feature generous working areas broadband internet connection and dedicated ports for laptop connection.

The distinctively designed hotel is owned by Sena Hotel Developments Limited and managed by Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific.

Radisson Water Garden Hotel Dhaka offers 30,000 square feet of function space, including the Grand Ballroom, which at 9,900 square feet can accommodate more than 1,180 guests theatre style. The Grand Ballroom can be divided into two separate rooms, offering flexibility and options for different styles and sizes of events. In addition, the Banquet Hall, which features a half-moon fixed stage, can accommodate up to 850 guests theatre style. The hotel is also equipped with an integrated sound system from Bose and has wireless internet connection in public areas.

The hotel also offers a wide array of exquisite cuisines served in beautiful surroundings. Water Garden Brasserie, an all-day-dining restaurant, features local, Asian and international cuisine with emphasis on fresh, healthy and creative flavors. For a more sophisticated alternative, Sublime offers a seasonal menu that will include fresh seafood, imported prime cuts and specialty items prepared in a simple manner. Spice & Rice will offer a menu inspired by a combination of flavours from Bangla and the Indian Sub-Continent, Northeast and Southeast. Meanwhile, Blaze and Cigar Bar will offer guests a place to relax at the end of a hectic day.
