Central Hotels & Resorts recently
appointed Mr. Michel Horn as General Manager of the Central World Hotel & Convention
Centre Bangkok.
Mr. Horn who is French, graduated with a Higher Degree of Hotel Management from the University of Hotel & Management of Strasbourg,
France. He has also attended several hotel training courses and management courses in France and United Kingdom.
Mr. Horn has over 25
years experience in hotel management including 13 years in Accor and has worked as general manager in various countries such as France,
U.A.E., United Kingdom, Singapore, China, Cambodia, South Korea and Thailand. He has also worked with Central Samui Beach Resort, Samui
as a general manager in 1994 for the hotel pre-opening.
Prior to joining Central World Hotel & Convention Centre Bangkok, Mr. Horn was the
Managing Director of Cambodiana Investment (S) Pte., Ltd. and Hotel Management & Consulting Services Pte., Ltd., Singapore for 10 years
before turning his eyes to Thailand.
The
Convention Centre of Central World Hotel will open in June 2007 and the hotel’s building will open in early
2008.
