Christmas to Arrive Early at Hong Kong Disneyland

Gently falling snow, twinkling lights and a magnificent 60-foot Christmas tree continue the annual tradition of Christmas at Hong Kong Disneyland, which launched last year to an overwhelming public response.

Hong Kong Disneyland’s “A Magical Christmas” will this year delight guests almost three weeks earlier with festivities scheduled to kick off on November 11, culminating with a spectacular New Year’s Eve party on December 31, 2006.

Here’s a look at the Magic in store for Guests this Christmas:

- A towering, 60-foot Christmas tree in Town Square;

- “Mickey’s Sing-A-Long Tree Lighting” Show – An all-new Christmas sleigh-inspired stage will glide through Town Square carrying Santa Claus, Mickey and his pals, and Christmas carolers; One lucky family will join Disney characters on stage every night from 6:15pm from November 11 (and 6:00pm in December) to light the Christmas tree.

- Gentle snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A will add to the wintry ambience;

- The Opera House will transform into Santa’s Corner as the jolly man himself settles in to listen to Christmas wishes;

- Kid Zones located in the Park where young guests can create Christmas-themed arts and crafts (open during weekends and public holidays from December 2 to 30).

- Special winter menus served in the Park and two Disney-themed hotels;

- Over 130 Christmas and winter-themed gift ideas for guests of all ages;

Christmas Activities at Disney-themed Hotels:

- Every guest staying at the Disney-themed Hotels this festive season will indulge in the delight and merriment of Christmas with a series of dynamic holiday activities that are sure to touch the heart of every guest. Young guests can learn how to prepare for party, spread joy like Santa does and also be a smart chef to make your own cookies decoration and gingerbread house at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Hollywood Hotel; “Holiday at Home” (holders of a Hong Kong Identity Card can enjoy a 25% discount off hotel accommodation until December 20, 2006) and “Stay and Play for 2 Days” (two days’ admission to the Park for the price of one until December 21, 2006) adds more magic for guests to fully immerse themselves in the festive season with greater benefits, more flexibility and fun.

- Holders of an Annual Pass benefit from exclusive offers of 35% and 20% off hotel accommodation and dining respectively until December 19, 2006.
