Travel News Asia Monday, 9 October 2006

The ultra exclusive Rayavadee, Krabis stunning tropical beach resort consisting entirely of private pavilions and villas, has appointed Asian sales and marketing specialists, Delivering Asia to service the propertys key Asian markets, namely, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.

Offering unsurpassed views of Phra Nang beach and the azure waters of the Andaman Sea, the stunning Rayavadee, which recently launched five luxuriously furnished villas, continues to add exciting new dimensions to what is already one of Thailands most exclusive hideaways.

Rayavadee is located in over 26 acres of coconut groves, tropical gardens and staggering limestone mountains. The property borders three National Park beaches, including Phra Nang, which is rated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and its sense of romantic seclusion is heightened by the fact that it is only accessible by sea.

Styled after a Southern Thai Village, the resort features 98 one and two-bedroom pavilions and five exclusive beachfront villas offering indulgent luxury and private Ton Hong butler service.

The award winning Rayavadee Spa offers a full range of massages, scrubs, wraps, facials, baths and beauty treatments. It is hailed as one of the most relaxing sanctuaries in southern Thailand.

Dining options range from the elegant yet informal Raya Dining Room & Lounge, serving western and Thai specialties, to seafood and traditional Thai cuisine at the beachfront Krua Phranang Restaurant and Bar; light lunches and dinners on the poolside Raitalay Terrace; and daily snacks and BBQs at The Grotto, nestled in nearby waterfront limestone cliffs.

Island sightseeing by private speedboat, motor launch or traditional Siamese Junk is also available. Bamboo Island, 20km from the resort, is excellent for diving while other island getaways are to Chicken, Poda or Tub Island for idyllic and tranquil beaches.
