Crown Towers and Crown Promenade Hotel in Australia Implement City.Optims Revenue Management System

Travel News Asia 9 January 2006

Optims S.A.S, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amadeus, has installed its City.Optims Revenue Management System in the Crown Towers and Crown Promenade Hotel in Australia.

With City.Optims, both hotels are now able to optimize multiple revenue streams, provide detailed analysis and reports, forecast future demand and business trends and obtain daily controls in order to increase revenue per available room (RevPAR). A multi-property revenue management system, City.Optims can be installed in an Application Service Provider (ASP) environment or, hosted locally within the hotel, giving each hotel constant access to its data, while the head office receives an overall view of the business, allowing it to optimise the chain and supervise all hotels.

Peter Crinis, Executive General Manager – Hotels for Crown Limited, said, “After a thorough evaluation of systems available, the Optims Revenue Management solution was selected as it was the most suitable product to meet our requirements. Since installation, it has enhanced our ability to yield manage across our markets in both hotels.”
