Courtyard by Marriott North Ryde Hotel opens its doors to Four-Legged Guests

Travel News Asia Friday, 8 September 2006

Everyone deserves a holiday - even cats and dogs. That's why one of Sydney's newest hotels is now inviting guests to bring their pampered pet with them on a weekend break.

From today, Friday 8 September, guests staying a Friday or Saturday night at the Courtyard by Marriott North Ryde hotel are welcome to share their guestroom with their favorite furry friend.

General Manager Louise Byrom said the 'Pets n Pals' package would appeal to a range of pet-loving Australians, especially families and couples.

"Many people would love to spend a weekend enjoying Sydney's attractions but are reluctant to leave their much-loved pet at home alone," Ms Byrom said.

"Those who do decide to bring their cat or dog along, are very limited in their choice of accommodation as few hotels allow pets in their guestrooms.

"Our 'Pets n Pals' package is designed to take the hassle out of travelling with cats or dogs, while also giving our four-legged friends a taste of the good life."

Ms Byrom said the package would be of particular benefit to guests taking a driving holiday - a style of travel popular with residents of regional New South Wales.

Courtyard by Marriott North Ryde 'Pets n Pals' package is available for stays in the Garden Courtyard guestrooms for Friday and Saturday nights. Pets must weigh no more than 15 kilograms, and some other conditions apply.

The Courtyard by Marriott North Ryde is located at the corner of Lane Cove and Talavera Roads.
