The Mangosteen Resort & Spa Phuket appoints new General Manager

The Mangosteen Resort & Spa has appointed Mr. Azuan Noordin as its new General Manager.

Malaysian by birth Mr. Azuan Noordin holds a BS (Honours) degree in Hospitality Administration from Cornell University, Ithaca City , New York School of Hotel Administration. He also holds a Diploma of Hotel and Catering Management from Malaysia's MARA University of Technology, Shah Alam. In addition he also holds several professional certified certificates from American Hotel and Motels Associations (AH&MA).

Mr. Noordin has worked with several international chain hotels such as Hilton, Holiday Inn, Pan Pacific, Waldorf Astoria, Best Western and a few independent hotel and resort properties in Asia. Prior to his appointment at the Mangosteen, Mr Noordin was the Group General Manager of Baan Yin Dee Boutique Resort a member of Boutique Hotels and Resorts international for 3 years.

Among other projects the Mangosteen Group was recently appointed to turn The Sand Nai Harn, Phuket a 32 units condominium property into a boutique resort  style managed property.
