The
InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Ribhi Hatamleh as its new Area Director of Sales & Marketing for KSA Western Region and
Government hotels.
Hatamleh started his career with the group in 1999 as Director of Sales & Marketing at
the Holiday Inn Yanbu and transferred to the Crowne Plaza Jeddah in 2004. In his new role he will assume responsibility for all Sales & Marketing matters, across thirteen properties in KSA West Area & Government
hotels managed by the group.
Hatamleh is a graduate in Geographical Science from Damascus University in Syria. He has also completed an Accelerated Development Program
from Cornell University in 2002.
Beginning his career in 1992, Hatamleh worked as Assistant Front Office Manager, at Meridian Damascus in Syria. He later moved to Safir Airport
Hotel Kuwait in 1996 to obtain a position as Front Office Manager.
