AirAsia launches 2007 Knock Out Sale with Fares from RM 0.99

AirAsia has launched its 2007 Knock Out Sale, with fares starting from as low as RM0.99. Fares to Hanoi are RM79.99 and Palembang from just RM39.99. Popular leisure destinations such as Phuket, Chiang Mai and Macau are also not left out in this promotion as one can fly to Phuket from RM19.99, to Chiang Mai from RM49.99 and Macau from RM79.99.

Kathleen Tan, Executive Vice President, Commercial of AirAsia Berhad, said, “With our 2007 Knock Out Sale, most of the airfares start from below RM50. Stimulating travel is one thing but what we really like to see is AirAsia becoming the preferred way of travel for people today when time is of the essence. With the campaign coinciding with Chinese New Year and school holidays, not only people will have more opportunities to travel home next year for the festive season but it is also an affordable and convenient way to travel.”

The 2007 Knock Out Sale promotion is available online at www.airasia.com and guests can book until 18 November 2006 for travel between 8 January to 31 March 2007. Prices start from as low as RM0.99 one way to Alor Star (to Hat Yai), Johor Bahru, Kota Bharu, Penang and Kuala Terengganu. One can also fly to Langkawi, Medan, Padang and Pekanbaru in Indonesia from as low as RM9.99.

If one fancies a trip to East Malaysia, fares can start from as low as RM19.99 to Sarawak and RM29.99 for Sabah with destinations including Bintulu, Kuching, Miri and Sibu in Sarawak, and Kota Kinabalu, Labuan, Sandakan and Tawau in Sabah.

Fares quoted exclude airport taxes and fees, fuel surcharges and are applicable for one way travel only.
