Joint Air France KLM Frequent Flyer Program celebrates 1st Anniversary

Flying Blue, the joint frequent flyer program (FFP) for customers of Air France KLM celebrated its first anniversary on Tuesday, 6 June, 2006.

Now with 11,200,000 Air France and KLM members, more than 10% of members joined the program in the past 12 months (two thirds of these new members are international customers).

Half of the new members joined online, with more than 30% of members opting to receive their Mileage summary and the e-newsletter via the internet.

Flying Blue has a four-tier structure (Platinum, Gold, Silver and Ivory levels), allowing some 70 million Air France and KLM passengers to benefit from all the advantages of the two brands combined networks. Customers may also earn and use Miles on some 18,000 flights to 900 destinations operated by more than 30 airline partners and over a hundred non-airline partners.
