Edwina San joins MCVB as International Incentives Manager

Edwina San has joined the Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau (MCVB) in the new role of Manager, International Incentives.

MCVB will open two Asian Representative offices, one in Hong Kong and one in Singapore, to further develop its share of the Asian incentive market.

Ms San will be based in Melbourne and will be responsible for MCVB’s new International Incentives Business Unit. Her initial responsibility will be to manage the establishment of the Asian Representative offices. Reporting to General Manager Sales, Mike Williams, Ms San will be responsible for the ongoing management and performance of the Unit.

Ms San is a graduate of Thames Valley University in London and has extensive experience in business development and sales and marketing.

In her previous role at Jurlique International she was responsible for business development and marketing for the Asia Pacific region. She has extensive experience in the Asian region having worked in Singapore and developed key accounts across South East Asia and North Asia including Japan, Hong Kong and China.

Ms San’s experience spans over 20 years in senior business development positions in the hotel and travel industry which will be particularly beneficial to her role at MCVB. She has worked previously with companies in Singapore, USA and Australia including Nova Apartment Hotels, Hostec, The Chakra Group, Choice Hotels International, TravelCorp Inc, Taj International Hotels, Highland Hotel and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.
