Blue Canyon Country Club releases First Title Deed to Luxury Condominium

Travel News Asia Thursday, 6 April 2006

In a simple ceremony held recently, Mr. Joseph Graham Long became the first fully fledged owner of a luxury condominium at the Blue Canyon Country Club in Phuket, as the world renowned golf course and luxury property development comes out of financial restructuring and looks to the future.

Mr. Long’s receipt of the title deeds to the property he first purchased in 1995 heralds a turning point in the realization of property investment by individual investors at Blue Canyon Country Club. Not only is Mr. Long the first of 84 individual condominium buyers to fully possess their property at Blue Canyon, this event paves the way for new individual investors to purchase similar property at Blue Canyon. This is especially significant with the impending development of luxury villas – conceptualized by hotel legend Adrian Zecha of Aman Resorts – planned for the third quarter of 2006.

Mr. Joseph Graham Long said, “I am really excited to finally receive the deeds to my condominium at Blue Canyon Country Club. Not only because it is especially satisfying after a wait of 11 years, but also because I spend most of my vacation time here in Phuket, playing golf on the world class courses that Blue Canyon offers. In addition to this new feeling of ownership is the knowledge that this is truly one of the best business and leisure investments I have made. This is a huge step forward and I offer my heartiest congratulations to the Blue Canyon team for working tirelessly to make this happen.”

In December 2005, Blue Canyon country Club announced a major development plan, whereby an investment value of THB2 billion (approximately USD48.8 million) will be used to transform the renowned property.
