Conrad Bali Resort & Spa launches Wedding and Event Venue

Travel News Asia Friday, 6 October 2006

The Conrad Bali Resort & Spa has launched Infinity, a dream inspired wedding and event venue.

Infinity is located beside the Ocean Garden, a beautifully manicured 1,200 sqm reserve of land on the beach-front at the northern side of the resort, Infinity offers newlyweds to-be one of Bali’s largest and absolute beachfront venue for exchanging the sacred vows of marriage.

The architecturally stunning Infinity floats two meters above sea level within a magnificent ensemble of overflowing reflecting pools and marble walkways. The building’s simple, off-set triangle shape represents a romantic angle towards the heavens, while its physical attributes of marble, glass and steel are each metaphors for the male and female bodies and their interaction with each other as a couple.

The steel framed glass wall that makes up the north side of the triangle embodies the delicate and nurturing characteristics of the bride as she supports the equally impressive marble south side, the stoic groom.

Boasting 117 sqm of floor space with a ceiling height of 12 m, the interior of Infinity is beautifully simple with elegant marble floors, floor to ceiling, ocean facing glass frontage and a transposable seating plan that comfortably receives 60 guests, making the fully air-conditioned building the perfect location for exclusive events and special celebrations.

The Bride and Groom have their own private dressing rooms as family members and wedding party participants can relax in comfort and style in their own dedicated, immaculately appointed suite.

Infinity was designed by the architecture firm PT. Dwi Tunggal Mandiri, Jakarta, Indonesia.
