The Landmark Oriental in Hong Kong launches In-Room Shopping with Harvey Nichols

Travel News Asia Wednesday, 5 July 2006

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong has launched a personalized VIP in-room guest shopping experience with international luxury lifestyle store, Harvey Nichols.

“This exclusive, complimentary service is offered to all guests staying at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental,” said Susanne Hatje, General Manager of the hotel. “Whether a guest is pressed for time, or simply needs assistance looking for the perfect outfit or gift, the hotel’s concierge will be happy to arrange this exceptional shopping experience.”

From designer handbags and beauty products to the most glamorous evening wear, the Harvey Nichols Personal Shopper can advise guests on colour, styling and available brands. A best-edited selection of requested merchandise will then be personally delivered in-room.

In addition, individual shopping tours of Harvey Nichols’ rather unusual 60,000 square foot Hong Kong store can also be arranged. Hotel guests will be greeted in the Harvey Nichols Personal Shopping Suite to discuss their shopping needs with the creative team over a glass of champagne. A complimentary makeover or a surprise beauty gift will be offered to all guests upon purchase. All purchases and gifts will be beautifully wrapped or freshly pressed, and hand-delivered to the guest’s room.
