Central Hotels & Resorts takes over Islandia Phuket

Central Hotels & Resorts together with an investor has set up a joint venture company namely Karon Phuket Hotel Co.,Ltd with 50:50 ratio, capitalized at 360 million baht. On the 1st April, the company took over Phuket Islandia Hotel in Karon Beach. The company paid 1,050 Million Baht to purchase this hotel and will invest 150 million baht to renovate the property which will be renamed the Central Karon Beach Resort, Phuket.

The Central Karon Beach Resort, Phuket is a modern 4-star mid-rise resort with panoramic views of Karon Beach and the lush hinterland of hills behind. The resort features 3 building with 316 rooms in a large landscaped area of Karon, complimented by 19 future villas units scattered around the grounds. Superior guestrooms are located in the main building offering partial or full oceanviews. Deluxe and Premium Deluxe rooms are located in the tropical and Paradise wings. They offer larger accommodation up to 52 sqm, and some offer oceanviews. Villas are clustered around the pool area of the garden wing. The facilities also include 3 swimming pool complexes which ensure a cool refreshing dip is only minutes from any guestroom, extensive Centara Spa and a comprehensive range of restaurants and bars, conference facilities, Fitness Centre, Sauna, 2 Floodlit tennis courts, Beauty Salon, Children playground, Kids Club, Snooker and facilities for the disabled.

The beach is just a  5-minute walk from the resort .
