Vivian Wang appointed Hotel Manager of Gyalthang Dzong Hotel in China

Gyalthang Dzong Hotel, a boutique property under the Colours of Angsana banner, has appointed a new Hotel Manager, Ms Vivian Wang, a newcomer to the Banyan Tree Group.

Ms Vivian Wang joined the Banyan Tree Group after returning from Vietnam, where she worked for 10 years. During this 10-year stint, she was the Executive General Manger of the five-star Grand Lucky International Hotel in 2004, and Managing Director of the five-star Li Lai International Hotel in 2001.

Ms Wang furthered her career at hotels such as Hua Ting Sheraton Shanghai, as a Training Manager. As such, she is a qualified professional trainer who specialises in recruitment, training, team spirit and setting up Standard Operating Procedures.

Ms Wang holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Shanghai Institute of Tourism, as well as a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources and Marketing Management from the Glion Hotel Institute of Higher Education in Bulle, Switzerland. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Japanese and Vietnamese.
