Indigo Pearl in Phuket appoints Director of Sales and Marketing

Luxury Phuket Resort the Indigo Pearl has appointed Miss Laddawan Somniyam as the hotel’s launch Director of Sales and Marketing.

Miss Laddawan, a Thai national, has more than 12 year’s experience in the Phuket five-star international hotel industry and joins Indigo Pearl from the Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa where she was Director of Sales.

Prior to working with Hilton, Miss Laddawan spent five years with the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket, graduating to Director of Sales – Events and brings to Indigo Pearl a solid background in meetings and incentive management as well as her sales abilities, for which Miss Laddawan has won numerous awards.

Miss Laddawan holds a degree in Marketing as well as a Hospitality Administration Management degree from the University of Hawaii.

The Indigo Pearl is expected to open on 1 December 2006.
