Cathay Pacific launches Gold Bar Promotion

Cathay Pacific has launched a new “Discover the Gold” inflight sales promotion, with Goldkenn offering passengers an opportunity to win a 999.9 (24 carat) gold bar with purchases of Goldkenn chocolates. The promotion will run until 31 March 2006.

A piece of gold, weighing five grams and of 999.9 purity, will be placed in one out of every 20 boxes of Goldkenn Goldbar chocolates sold on Cathay Pacific flights. Each time passengers buy the chocolates they get the chance to be an instant winner. The promotion is a first for both Cathay Pacific and Goldkenn.

Cathay Pacific Inflight Sales & Logistics Manager Cindy Lam said, “On Cathay Pacific, shopping has become as much a part of the inflight entertainment experience as movies, music and food. Over the years, we have consistently enhanced our passengers’ shopping experience on the aircraft, greatly expanding the range of products on offer.
