Amadeus appoints Bruno des Fontaines as Vice President of the Amadeus Hospitality Business Group in Asia Pacific

Amadeus has appointed Bruno des Fontaines as Vice President of the Amadeus Hospitality Business Group (HBG) in Asia Pacific.

Mr Des Fontaines will be responsible for developing Amadeus hospitality IT and distribution business across the region. Amadeus now provides a full suite of IT solutions to hoteliers to optimise revenue streams, distribute inventory and better manage the guest experience. Amadeus Hotel Revenue Management System boosts revenues; Amadeus distribution solutions can take a hotels available rooms to the door of travel agents in 200,000 locations around the world and Amadeus Property Management Solutions offers the ability to manage the guest experience from check-in to check-out.

Bruno des Fontaines, Vice President, Hospitality, Amadeus, Asia Pacific, said, Asia Pacific represents a significant opportunity for the Amadeus Hospitality Business Group. I look forward to working closely with the team to build on the excellent work that has been done to date. It is an especially exciting time to join as we look to establish our presence in some of the most dynamic markets in the sector such as China and India.

Bruno was previously Vice President, Revenue Management Solutions for Optims, covering EMEA and Asia pacific and prior to that, Bruno was Optims International Sales Director. Before joining Optims, he was the General Manager for Continental Europe of Innsite, an English computer Company specialised in the Hospitality industry.
