Mr Huang Cheng Eng, Executive Vice President, Marketing and the Regions, Singapore Airlines,
is to succeed Mr Fock Siew Wah as Chairman and Director of Singapore Airlines' wholly-owned subsidiary, Singapore Airlines Cargo
with effect from 1 August 2006.
Mr Huang joined Singapore Airlines in 1974 as marketing assistant. He subsequently held senior assignments in Hong Kong, Taiwan and France
before returning to Singapore to head up cargo worldwide in 1987 and then, marketing planning in 1996. Mr Huang was appointed Executive Vice
President, Marketing and the Regions in 2001.
Mr Huang is also a board director of Virgin Atlantic Airways and the Singapore Tourism
Board.
