Principal Concept designing Casino at Le Méridien Split

Le Méridien Split, located just 6 km south of Split on Croatia's Dalmatian Coast, will be the home to one of Europe's leading Casinos, when it is completed in the 3rd Quarter of 2006.

For the past 6 months Christophe Herbert of Principal Concept, which has offices in Annecy, Geneva and London has been working on the designs for the casino being created at the resort.

The casino, which is located right next to the Night Club with its International Shows, will be over 1,600 sq.m. in size. It will have 110 regular and 30 high denomination slot machines, 8 poker and 6 roulette tables plus a Sports Bar and Terrace for watching "Live" all the top races and matches. In addition to an exclusive fine dining restaurant there will also be a "Salon Privé" with its own tables and private dining room and bar.

Over the past few years Principal have created and designed over 40 casinos around the world including such famous names as "Le Casino" in Monte Carlo – a veritable Temple of Gaming – the Rendez-vous in Park Lane, London, the Casino Ruhl in Nice, the Casino d'Evian and the Casino Real in Madrid to name just a few.

Principal was founded with the intention to create and develop innovative projects for the gaming and leisure industry and according to Christophe Herbert the Casino at Le Méridien Split will have a seductive atmosphere created through attention to detail and dedication to the highest level of quality.

Besides the Casino, the resort will have 382 rooms and suites with average size of 32 sq.m., a 2,500 sq.m. Conference Centre, a Health and Wellness Centre and a Night Club. Added to this, there will be a Promenade in front of the resort with restaurants, bars and shops overlooking the exclusive marina that will take 90 good sized yachts.
