Tiger Airways has commenced seat sales to the three Chinese cities of Haikou, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

The low cost, Singapore-based airline, will start flying to Shenzhen (SZX) from 15 April 2006, while flights to Haikou (HAK) and Guangzhou (CAN) will commence from 26 April and 27 April 2006, respectively. Fares for all flights start from Sin$49.98 (excluding taxes) one way.

“With fares as low as Sin$49.98 one way, flying between China and Singapore will become truly affordable. We hope travelers from both countries will take advantage of these incredible offers to visit each other and strengthen the commercial and social ties that already exist between the two communities,” said Tiger Airways CEO, Tony Davis.

Tiger Airways will initially be flying four times a week to Haikou and three times a week to both Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
