Hotel InterContinental Jordan appoints Janet Abrahams as New Regional Director of Sales and Marketing

The InterContinental Jordan has appointed Janet Abrahams as the new Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Jordan & Palestine.

Ms. Abrahams brings with her extensive experience in the hotel business. Prior to InterContinental Hotels Group, Janet gained 20 years of experience in luxury hotels sales and marketing based in Europe, Asia and Middle East. Ms Abrahams was promoted as to her new role as Area Director of Sales & Marketing for InterContinental Hotels Group, Middle East and Africa from the Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi, where she was based for almost two years as Director of Sales & Marketing.

Ms. Abrahams responsibilities include overseeing all sales and marketing activities for the portfolio of InterContinental properties in Jordan and Palestine.

The hotel chain has seven properties within Jordan and Palestine including InterContinental Jordan, InterContinental Aqaba, Crowne Plaza Amman, Crowne Plaza Resort Petra and Holiday Inn Amman, as well as two properties in Palestine, InterContinental Jericho and InterContinental Jacir Palace Bethlehem.

Within the next year, the portfolio will expand to include a further two new properties, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn, both based at the shore of the Dead Sea Jordan.
