Travel News Asia Wednesday, 26 April 2006

International Air Charter (IAC), one of the world's largest independent aircraft charter brokers who started its operations in Dubai in 2002, has announced a total turnover of US$ 4.9 million during the year 2005, which is a 100% increase when compared to 2004.

Commenting on their tremendous growth, Hugh Courtney, Chief Executive of International Air Charter plc said, “IAC has become one of the most respected providers of quality private aircraft charter in the Middle East, and is one of the few aircraft charter company’s in the world who has achieved the ISO 9001 recognition. This assures our clients that we uphold the highest standards of aircraft and service in the provision of executive and VIP aircraft charter.”

“Recently we announced our intention to expand operations by forging new GSA (General Sales Agent) partnerships in the Middle East region. IAC has been very successful in the region due to its important role in providing first class service while ensuring safety and security for clients using its aircraft services. We witnessed a massive 100% increase in our regional operations last year which is a commendable performance for a company that has such a short history in the region.”

As part of its expansion plans in Dubai, IAC have captured the market with its new unique technology, 'Computerized Aircraft Tracking System' (CATS), which is the ultimate in cutting-edge aircraft sourcing technology. This innovative technology has made easier the process of tracking aircraft, by airport base, type, quality, age, number of seats and location in the world, in a matter of minutes.

IAC is currently in negotiation with several corporate clients, who are considering buying aircraft such as the Challenger 604 and Gulfstream aircraft, with a view to basing them in the Middle East and using them for ad-hoc charter. This is a highly cost-effective option when making trips with multiple short stops, varied timings and stopovers.

“We at IAC, have been successfully catering to markets spanning the Gulf region. Private air travel is a business necessity rather than a luxury and our discerning clients expect a high class service from us. When it comes to private air charter service, no one understands this better than we do. Our quest for excellence, the innovative approach to our business and a passion for the fulfillment of client demands reinforces our position as a major player in the Middle East market,” concluded Courtney.

IAC has its offices in major business hubs across the world, including London, New York, Nice, Frankfurt, Padova (Italy) and Dubai.
