Travel News Asia Thursday, 25 May 2006

The attractions of Beijing and Shanghai are more affordable this summer, following the introduction of the Beijing Weekend Select and Shanghai Weekend Select packages from Dragonair Holidays.

The three-day, two-night packages comprise round-trip Economy Class ticket, two nights’ hotel accommodation with breakfast, and travel insurance. Prices start from just HK$2,688 for an adult sharing a twin room (exclusive of taxes and surcharges).

Travellers can choose to stay at the China World Hotel, Beijing, Shangri-La’s Kerry Centre Hotel, Beijing, or The Westin Shanghai.

“The packages are just perfect for travellers looking for a break in either of these two vibrant cities this summer,” said Liza Ng, Dragonair’s General Manager, Hong Kong and Southern China.

Flights for the Weekend Select packages depart on Fridays and Saturdays, with the packages available for departure between June 2 and August 26 this year.
