Mr. Tomas Hansson has been appointed as General Manager of
the Sheraton Shenzhen Hotel,
Futian.
A Swedish national, Mr. Hansson brings with him over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry and this latest appointment marks his 6th
property with Starwood Hotel & Resorts. Associated over 17 years with Sheraton hotels, Mr. Hansson has expanded his operational knowledge
with product development, hotel openings and repositioning.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Hansson has held several key positions in China, such as General Manager of Sheraton Chengdu Lido Hotel, Hotel
Manager of Sheraton Shenyang Lido Hotel and Hotel Manager of Sheraton Nanjing Kingsley Hotel.
Sheraton Shenzhen Hotel, Futian is located in Shenzhen’s new Central Business District, features 417
guestrooms and suites, a diverse range of stylish restaurants and trendy bars and lounges, a well-equipped gymnasium and a lavish spa, as well as a total of 4’000
square meters function spaces, includes one of the largest pillar-less grand ballrooms in the city.
