Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has developed ‘Stay and Play’ golfing packages which include accommodation at one of the two luxurious Sheraton
properties in Abu Dhabi, a round of golf at one of the two courses at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club and a complimentary pull trolley.
Guests staying at the Sheraton Abu Dhabi and Sheraton Khalidiya Hotel Abu Dhabi can take full advantage of the facilities at The Abu Dhabi Golf
Club, which offers two golf courses; the challenging 18 holes, par 72, National Course and the
9 holes, par 36 Garden course (2x9 available). The extensive practice facilities feature
18 holes Putting Greens, Chipping Greens and Practice Bunkers and one of
the Gulf’s longest driving ranges (350m). The National Course hosted the PGA European Tour and the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship 2006, featuring 120 players including Vijay Singh,
Chris di Marco, Sergio Garcia and Colin Montgomerie. Both courses were designed by Peter Harradine and the club also boasts a striking
clubhouse, three floors of restaurants, a fully equipped executive meeting room and a sports and fitness club.
The Sheraton Abu Dhabi is located just 30 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, overlooking the
Persian Gulf and within walking distance from the city centre and commercial districts. The hotel has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation and all of the
guestrooms and suites have been upgraded. The hotel boasts a selection of dining options and bars, a new conference centre, three outdoor
pools, a sauna, steam room and a spa.
A Deluxe room at the Sheraton Abu Dhabi, including a round of golf, starts from AED 1060 (approximately £153) per night.
The Sheraton Khalidiya Hotel Abu Dhabi overlooks Abu Dhabi city centre and the clear waters of the
Persian Gulf. The hotel has 195 rooms and suites along with an upgraded health club which includes a spacious rooftop swimming pool.
One night at the Sheraton Khalidiya Hotel Abu Dhabi, including a round of golf, costs AED 995 (approximately £143) for a Deluxe room and AED
1090 (approximately £157) for an Executive Suite.
