Bangkok's American Independence Day Celebrations to take place 1 July at Bangkok Pattana School

Visitors to Bangkok and local residents will be able to enjoy the annual American Independence Day celebrations which is being held this year on Saturday 1 July, 2006, at the Bangkok Patana School, 2/38 Soi LaSalle, Sukhumvit 105,from 2 pm to 8pm. Free shuttle buses running all afternoon and into the early evening have been organised to and from the On Nut BTS station. Entrance is 100 baht, with children under 12 free.

The renowned annual event will have plenty for the entire family, with hamburgers, hotdogs, ribs, chili, chicken, soft drinks and beer, and features entertainment all day long, including clowns, magicians, singers and dancers, and lots of live music. There are games for kids and adults, and a vast array of raffle prizes to be won, and, as always, the day will be topped off with a spectacular fireworks extravaganza.
