Arnaud Girodon joins Indigo Pearl in Phuket as EAM

Luxury Phuket resort, the Indigo Pearl, has appointed Arnaud Girodon as Executive Assistant Manager.

Mr Girodon, a French national who holds an Advanced Hotel Business Degree (majoring in hotel and catering management) has worked in the hotel industry since graduating from university in 1995.

Since 1999 Mr Girodon worked in Dubai where he was based in a number of properties in senior management positions.

He most recently held the position of Executive Assistant Manager for the pre-opening and opening of the five-star 393-room Al Murooj Hotel and Suites.

Mr Girodon also has a strong food and beverage management background.

Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Phuket International Airport the resort is expected to open to guests on 1 November. The Indigo Pearl will feature 277 rooms and suites while the eight food and beverage outlets will offer a wide range of tasty yet healthy modern Asian and international cuisines.

Recreational facilities include three swimming pools, a cooking school, tennis courts, a childrens club, a fitness and meditation pavilion, a diving school and a snooker hall with its own bar serving fine whiskies from around the world.

The Indigo Pearl also has a secluded and sheltered Andaman Sea beachfront with a private beach club.

Guests will also have access to high-speed wireless internet connections while meeting and incentive planners can put the spacious Conference Pavilion - containing nine meeting rooms in addition to a 600sqm Grand Ballroom, accommodating up to 900 delegates - to creative use.
