COMO Shambhala Estate at Begawan Giri in Bali has unveiled its first dedicated health packages following a two-year investment in specialist staff and facilities to turn this serene, spiritually-rich property into a leading wellness retreat. Programs run for three, five or seven nights, and include Detox, Ayurvedic, Anti-Ageing and Stress Management. In addition, The Estate has launched a special Honeymooner’s Package for those who want to combine healthy living with a romantic, private retreat (all treatments are conducted in special treatment rooms for couples).

The COMO Shambhala Detox. This package allows guests to cleanse their body of toxins accumulated from bad diet and polluted environments. Powerful yet safe, it is not intended for those recovering from substance abuse. The package includes regular wellness consultations, prescribed meal plans, colonic hydrotherapy, one body treatment and up to three further therapies, as well as participation in The Estate’s daily schedule of activities (including yoga, Pilates, meditation and outdoor pursuits). Consultants may suggest appropriate cleansers (bentonite clay, psyllium husk) and may also promote cleansing for the liver and gall bladder. Guests also benefit from complimentary access to the steam rooms, sauna, Vitality Pool and 25-metre lap pool. Rates start at $2105 per person (based on two sharing a Standard Suite) for three nights, from $3059 for five nights, and $4172 for seven nights.

The Ayurvedic Retreat. This package calls upon the expertise of The Estate’s Resident Ayruvedic Doctor, Deepak Deginal. An ancient alternative method of healing and rejuvenation for body and mind, Ayurveda can address specific conditions with dedicated prescriptions. Natural blends of botanicals are used to eliminate toxic imbalances. Deginal also works closely with The Estate chef to ensure maximum results by jumpstarting the digestive system. The package includes regular wellness consultations, prescribed meal plans, wellness treatments (regular yoga and Ayurvedic therapies) as well as participation in The Estate’s daily schedule of activities (including Pilates, meditation and outdoor pursuits). Guests also benefit from complimentary access to the steam rooms, sauna, Vitality Pool and 25-metre lap pool. Rates start at $2545 per person (based on two sharing a Standard Suite) for three nights, from $4309 for five nights, and $6072 for seven nights.

Stress Management. Stress depletes the mineral levels in the body, which can cause mental instability, fatigue and disrupted sleep cycles. This package is designed to completely re-mineralise the body to restore balance to all vital systems. The hotel's team of consultants will put together a program comprising treatments and lectures of how to breathe with ease and to handle stress more effectively. It therefore includes regular wellness consultations, recommended meal plans, anti-stress treatments and therapeutic yoga sessions as well as participation in The Estate’s daily schedule of activities (including meditation and outdoor pursuits). Guests also benefit from complimentary access to the steam  rooms, sauna, Vitality Pool and 25-metre lap pool. Rates start at $2185 per person (based on two sharing a Standard Suite) for three nights, from $3989 for five nights, and $5592 for seven nights.

The Anti-Ageing Retreat. This package targets mainly the face working with products from Environs. It is suitable for all skin types and addresses photo-damaged skin, dry skin, pigmentation and scarring. The resort recommends the specially-designed five-day facial treatment course that employs the freshest, most active forms of Vitamin A and C using the latest methods of enhanced penetration. The vitamins are dispersed into the deepest layers of the skin where they work to hydrate, stimulate and normalise skin cells. The package includes regular wellness consultations, meals, anti-ageing treatments, further body treatments as well as participation in The Estate’s daily schedule of activities (including yoga, Pilates, meditation and outdoor pursuits). Guests also benefit from complimentary access to the steam rooms, sauna, Vitality Pool and 25-metre lap pool. Rates start at $2505 per person (based on two sharing a Standard Suite) for three nights, from $3929 for five nights, and $5292 for seven nights.

The COMO Shambhala Honeymoon. The Estate has put together a package that provides each couple with a private wellness consultation (one hour each), regular treatments in double therapy rooms and all meals as well as accommodation in the Estate’s most romantic Standard Suites. Couples are invited to participate in The Estate’s daily schedule of activities (including yoga, Pilates, meditation and outdoor pursuits) while benefiting from complimentary access to the steam rooms, sauna, Vitality Pool and 25-metre lap pool. Rates start at $1965 per couple for three nights, from $3209 for five nights, and $4452 for seven nights.

All above prices include accommodation and return airport transfers, but exclude 21% tax and service charge.
