AirAsia has partnered with AIG S.E. Asia to become one of the first low fare airlines in Asia to offer a web-integrated travel protection sales platform.

Exclusively designed with AirAsia guests in mind, AirAsia GoInsure Travel Protection is now available on AirAsia's website for all the airline' passengers departing from Malaysia.

GoInsure Travel Protection offers affordable premiums, from as low as RM 6 for a domestic one way flight and up to RM 18 for an international return trip. Depending on the type of protection plan purchased, GoInsure Travel Protection may provide coverage for trip cancellation, baggage & personal effects, common conveyance delay, 24-hour personal accident, accidental medical reimbursement, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation, 24-hour emergency medical assistance & travel services and flight delay. Passengers up to the age of 75 are entitled to purchase AirAsia GoInsure Travel Protection.

GoInsure Travel Protection is underwritten by American Home Assurance Company, Malaysia (AHA Malaysia), a member company of the American International Group, Inc. (AIG).

It is anticipated that AirAsia passengers departing from Thailand and Indonesia will be able to purchase GoInsure Travel Protection later this year.
