Sheraton Laguna Nusa Dua, Bali opens Refurbished Guestrooms

Sheraton Laguna Nusa Dua, a Starwood Luxury Collection property, has opened its refurbished rooms and suites as part of an overall hotel refurbishment plan completed in June 2006. The hotel refurbishment and upgrade features the tagline “Luxury is our Middle Name” and coincides with the launch of newly refurbished ballroom and meeting facilities.

Guestrooms now feature contemporary Balinese decor with polished teakwood flooring, locally carved Palimanan stone walls, burl wood cabinetry and hand-woven carpets. Guests can keep tuned-in with 42-inch plasma satellite televisions, in-room DVD players, and Broadband and Wi-Fi internet access, which also extends to the meeting facilities and the beach. All rooms feature a private balcony with views over the landscaped tropical gardens and vast lagoons. Non-smoking and wheelchair access rooms are available. New bathrooms feature wall to floor marble, an oversized corner bathtub and shower and ‘waffle-knit’ bathrobes.

The resort also offers 24-hour butler service to all rooms, providing delivery of complimentary tea and coffee as well as complimentary clothes pressing upon arrival. Daily afternoon tea is served for all guests in Mayang Sari Lounge and Library.

The 270 guestrooms include 48 lagoon access rooms and 20 suites. Guests of the 48 lagoon access rooms and suites can step into the crystal waters of one of five vast swimmable lagoons from their private balcony.

Sheraton Laguna Nusa Dua also houses another two swimming pools set amidst seven hectares of abundant tropical landscaping.

The resort is a private paradise with its own beachfront in the Nusa Dua area of Bali. Nearby is an 18-hole championship golf course and the new Bali Collection shopping centre. Watersports and a tour desk are available to help keep guests active during their stay.
