Thailand’s Amari Group offers Agents 15% Commission

Travel agents can earn 15% commission for booking both tourist and corporate packages at any of Thailand’s Amari Hotels & Resorts up to 31 March 2006.

For vacations to Thailand, the ‘Amari Getaway Package’ offers three discounted nights in a superior room with breakfast at one of the group’s four hotels in Bangkok or resorts in Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Koh Chang, Samui, Phuket and Trang.

Airport transfers are included for all except the resort in Pattaya, and the package also includes a complimentary dinner-for-two, along with welcoming drink.

For business travelers to Thailand, the ‘Corporate Package’ is on offer at Amari Hotels & Resorts in Bangkok and Pattaya, featuring two nights in a deluxe room with breakfast, along with airport transfers and free broadband internet.

Prices vary slightly but in Bangkok the Amari Watergate Hotel’s is middle-of-the-range at US$309 (US$329 for two) for its two-night Corporate Package and US$379 (US$420 for two) for its three-night Getaway Package (plus 10% service and 7% VAT).

Typical of the Getaway Package is US$193 (US$231 for two) for three-nights at the Amari Coral Beach Hotel, Phuket, also subject to service and tax.
