Guangzhou's Liuhua
Hotel has joined WORLDHOTELS fast-growing China portfolio.
The newly-refurbished Liuhua Hotel was dramatically transformed from a
3-star to a 4-star property with a renovation last year and joins as a First
Class Collection member.
As the official registration centre for the city's famous 'Canton Fair', it is one of Guangzhou's best-known hotels.
The Liuhua is just a short stroll from the famed Liuhua Complex which houses the giant Spring and Autumn Trade Fair that for many years has
been the showcase for Chinese export products.
The property has over 230 guestrooms and all the facilities expected of a modern business hotel with extensive conference facilities for up to 450,
giant banquet hall, a new-look business centre, fitness centre, beauty salon, sauna, massage, billiards and executive lounge.
Restaurants include two
Chinese restaurants, the Grand Ballroom and Wenyuan restaurant, as well as a western-style coffee shop.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar, satellite TV, cable TV,
IDD, and internet access.
The
hotel is located beside Liuhua Lake and is conveniently located not only for the trade fairground, but Guangzhou railway station, subway
and all major transport links. It is also just a few minutes walk from the city's bustling clothing wholesale market.
