Travel News Asia Wednesday, 21 June 2006

Domina Hotel Group is to open a new hotel in Jordan with the opening of the Domina Inn Aqaba, the group's fifth property in the Middle East and Northern Africa area.

Situated on the southern tip of Jordan, Aqaba is the country’s only seaport. Well known for sandy beaches and Coral Reefs, considered among the cleanest of the Red Sea, it is also very close to the pink northern deserts. Domina Inn Aqaba is conveniently located in the city centre with easy access to the sea for hotel guests.

“With Domina Inn Aqaba’s opening, planned for the end of 2007, we are offering a new destination to our incoming leisure market as well as to the business one” said Jean Patrick Thiry, Managing Director of Domina Hotel Group. “We are proud to continue investing in the Middle East and Northern Africa area. This hotel in fact adds to the four already existing ones and to Domina Prestige Emilio Cruise present in Egypt and Tunisia, at the same anticipating the upcoming acquisition of other properties in the area.”

The hotel will have a total of 175 spacious rooms including 24 suites, all fully equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, terrace, satellite tv and internet connection. Amenities at guests’ disposal include one main swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, massage, gym and access to a diving centre as well as one main restaurant, two bars, roof cafeteria and a night club. A 150 sqm congress hall, 5 business offices and a 2 floor parking also make it perfect for business trips.
