Central Karon Beach Resort, Phuket ready to Reopen after extensive Renovation

Central Hotels & Resorts has completed renovations of the Central Karon Beach Resort, Phuket. After acquiring the Phuket Islandia Resort and renaming it Central Karon Beach Resort, Phuket, in April 2006, Central Hotels & Resorts has invested 240 million baht and closed the property for the renovation since July this year. This renovated property will be reopening on 15th November 2006 in time for the high season with extensive upgrades to rooms, facilities and services.

The new renovated facilities include all rooms at the Terraces building, Lagoon building, Tropicale building, Lotus All Day Dining Restaurant, Azure Poolside Restaurant, The Mix Lobby Bar, function rooms and 19 pool cabanas which are a new addition to the resort.

The Superior room at The Terraces building is bright, contemporary and fresh. The rooms offer a Thai touch and deliver every comfort for the guests staying at the resort.

The Deluxe rooms at the Lagoon building are spacious and comfortable, configuration is either king or 2 double beds, the latter ideal for family holidays with accommodations for 2 adults and 2 children.

The spacious premium deluxe room comprises of a romantic bathroom overlooking the bedroom.

Central Karon Beach Resort, Phuket is a modern 4-star mid-rise resort with panoramic views of Karon Beach and the lush hinterland of hills behind. The resort features 3 building with 316 rooms in a large landscaped area of Karon, complimented by 19 plunge pool cabana villas units scattered around the grounds.

Superior guestrooms are located in the main building offering partial or full oceanviews. Deluxe and Premium Deluxe rooms are located in the tropicale and Paradise wings. They offer larger accommodation up to 52 sqm, and some offer oceanviews. Villas are clustered around the pool area of the garden wing.
