Kempinski signs Management Contract for Third Property in Shanghai

Kempinski Hotels has signed an agreement with Shanghai An Shun Real Estate Development to manage Kempinski Residences Hongqiao, set to open late 2007. The property will be the group's third in Shanghai.

The prestigious residences are in Hongqiao business district, near to Hongqiao Airport, Shanghai’s domestic airport, and convenient to Pudong International Airport. Set in grounds covering 11,700 m2, a total of 212 luxurious residences ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms, plus a very limited number of 4 and 6 bedroom residences, will be available for long term rental.

Kempinski Residences Hongqiao are being designed by architect Shanghai East Architecture Designing Co. with interior design by DiLeonardo International Inc, renowned for incorporating the latest innovations in designs for living. The futuristic architecture is intended to integrate both the beauty of form and the practicality of function, so that residents can really enjoy the many facilities planned. There will be a conference centre, Club House with swimming pool, fitness centre, as well as entertainment, shopping and restaurant areas, all within the complex.
