Marriott Hotels in Jordan support 'Walk the World 2006 for Hunger'

Marriott Hotels in Jordan are one of the main sponsors for “Walk the World 2006 for Hunger”, a global walk that is organized by the United Nations World Food Programme and will take place on the 21st of May 2006.

Vatche Yergatian, the General Manager for the Amman Marriott Hotel and Chairman of the Jordan Marriott Hotels Business Council said, “In our endeavor to continuously demonstrate “Our Spirit to Serve Our Communities” and “Our Spirit to Serve Jordan,” we are proud to be able to give something back to our local community. Improving the nutrition, health, and education status of those hungry and deprived children should be a priority for everyone. We have a large team from all three Marriott properties that will be participating in this walk including myself.”

Marriott International manages three properties in Jordan, the Amman Marriott Hotel, the Petra Marriott Hotel and the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa.
