A large delegation from Jumeirah, the dynamic and fast-growing Dubai based luxury hospitality group and member of Dubai Holding, will be travelling to Japan, China and Singapore this month for the first official sales road show and media functions for the group in the Asia Pacific region.

This road show follows a series of high profile announcements made by the group recently, which included confirmation that it will manage the Hantang Jumeirah Shanghai, one of the cities’ most prominent and prestigious new hotel developments. In addition, the group has made several senior management appointments earlier this year including Francis Killory as Vice President Development, Asia Pacific and Serge Zaalof as Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, who has been tasked to set up the regional office for the group.

The road show will see senior sales and public relations & communications representatives from the group’s corporate office as well as its regional sales offices and hotels in Dubai, London and New York travel to Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore in September for a series of workshops, sales calls, events and trade and media functions.

The Jumeirah Showcase Events will be held on the following dates:

September 19 - Osaka
September 20 - Nagoya
September 21 - Tokyo
September 25 - Shanghai
September 27 - Hong Kong
September 28 - Singapore

Serge Zaalof, Senior Vice President Asia Pacific for Jumeirah said, “We are very excited about our first corporate sales and public relations road show to Japan, China and Singapore and we are looking forward to meeting our valued guests, corporate clients, tour operator partners, travel trade contacts and media representatives in the various cities we will be visiting in September”. He added: “The Asia Pacific region is a very important, strategic and emerging market for our hotels and resorts in Dubai as well as for our overseas properties, and with the announcement of our first hotel in Asia Pacific, we felt it was the right time for us to visit the region with a large, senior delegation of sales and public relations executives.”
