AIME 2007 Hosted Buyer Applications Now Open

Travel News Asia Monday, 18 September 2006

AIME 2007 is now accepting applications for its Hosted Buyer Programme.

AIME’s Hosted Buyer Programme is open to people who organise meetings, conferences, incentives, special events and exhibitions. Benefits include complimentary airfares and accommodation and appointments with the exhibitors buyers most wish to see.

Buyers are hosted from Australia, New Zealand, Asia, UK/ Europe, United Arab Emirates and the Americas. All buyers must be qualified by AIME’s panel of industry professionals.

AIME 2007 is expected to include more than 850 exhibitors from 50 countries, with the predominant focus on the Asia Pacific region. In excess of 2,600 visitors and Hosted Buyers are expected to attend.

In 2007 AIME celebrates its 15th anniversary and Reed Travel Exhibitions believe the event will be one of its largest to date.

Exhibitors are currently vying for positions in an event that has become a key marketing platform for companies in the region. AIME’s return to February has been welcomed. Feedback from exhibitors and buyers confirms that they prefer AIME to be held in February and believe the earlier timing is better for buyers.

Increases in Hosted Buyer numbers are expected to come from Asia, UK/Europe and New Zealand. Australian buyer numbers are expected to remain strong.

AIME 2007, 15th AsiaPacific Incentives and Meetings Expo, will be held on 13 and 14 February at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
