Jin Jiang Hotel Reservations now available via Travelocity sites

Travel News Asia Tuesday, 18 July 2006

Jin Jiang International Hotel Management Company (Jin Jiang Hotels) has made Travelocity the group's first global online travel marketing partner by joining its Net Rate Hotel program.

The Travelocity Hotel Program offers travellers the ability to make real-time hotel bookings at more than 60,000 properties via Travelocity-owned online travel sites globally.

Jin Jiang owns and manages more than 220 hotels and inns throughout China with 46,000 rooms, from luxury 5-star hotels to an economy brand of inns.

“Jin Jiang is at an exciting time of transformation and rebranding to meet the needs of the growing numbers of international tourists to China,” according to Michael Meade Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing of Jin Jiang Hotels. “Naturally, we want an online marketing and technology partner that would help the world come to us, yet was willing to work with our particular needs and was truly hotel-friendly.

“We found this in Travelocity. We pride ourselves on being able to assist travellers from the luxury to the economy ends of the industry and appreciate that Travelocity sites reach consumers who fit this profile from many international points-of-sale,” he said.

The marketing and distribution arrangement was facilitated by Jin Jiang’s hotel reservations system service provider, HUBS1.

“Hubs1 is very excited about our partnership with Jin Jiang Hotels and Travelocity,” D.Teddy Zhang, President and CEO of HUBS1 said. “Now, Jin Jiang is absolutely at the front tier of online travel distribution transformation occurring in China. We are proud that HUBS1 can provide the cutting-edge technology to Jin Jiang’s central reservations system (JREZ) that allows hotels to manage real time online pricing and inventory so as to maximize the online visibility through Travelocity and its global points-of-sale.”
