Tiger Airways partners Premier Tax Free to launch Promotion

Travel News Asia Tuesday, 18 April 2006

Tiger Airways is teaming up with electronic tourist refund agency Premier Tax Free to celebrate the opening of the Changi Airport Budget Terminal with lucky draws where winners stand to win attractive prizes.

During the months of April to July 2006, one lucky winner will be picked each month to receive a pair of Tiger Airways round-tickets to Singapore from any of its destinations and Sin$300 shopping vouchers from Premier Tax Free. The promotion is open to tourists who claim their Premier Tax Free refund when departing from Changi Airport.

To qualify for the lucky draw, contestants are required to complete a “Singapore Budget Terminal Promotion” form and return it to any of the Premier Tax Free counters at Changi Airport – Budget Terminal, Terminal One or Terminal Two.

“We are delighted to partner Premier Tax Free for this special promotion where foreign travelers have the chance to come back to Singapore and enjoy great shopping opportunities. The promotion will cover the Great Singapore Sale (GSS) period from 26 May to 23 July so that customers can enjoy greater benefits,” said Tiger Airways Chief Marketing Officer, Rosalynn Tay.

Premier Tax Free General Manager David Daly said, “We are very excited to be working with Tiger Airways. This is the first time this kind of promotion has been organized in Singapore between a low fare’s airline and a tourist refund agency, targeted at tourist shoppers. It will position Singapore in an even more attractive light and show how those companies working within the travel industry can come together to add value to the tourist experience in Singapore”
