Thai Airways offers Special Fares for First Commercial Flights to/from Suvarnabhumi on 29 July 2006

Thai Airways International is to operate its first commercial domestic flights to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on July 29, 2006.

In order to ensure that Suvarnabhumi Airport will be ready for its official opening on 28th September 2006 and to give passengers the opportunity to experience THAI’s products and services at Suvarnabhumi, THAI will operate 4 domestic flights to Suvarnabhumi Airport on 29th July 2006, including flights from Chiang Mai and Phuket, with the following details:

• Don Muang – Suvarnabhumi – Don Muang
- Utilizing Boeing 747-400 aircraft, capable of accommodating total 345 Seats; 10 First Class / 40 Business Class / 325 Economy Class

TG4554 Don Muang – Suvarnabhumi 09.39 hrs - 10.19 hrs
TG1882 Suvarnabhumi – Don Muang 13.49 hrs - 14.29 hrs

• Chiang Mai – Suvarnabhumi – Phuket
- Utilizing Airbus 300-600 aircraft, capable of accommodating total 247 seats; 201 Business Class / 46Economy Class.

TG2772 Chiang Mai – Suvarnabhumi 11.19 hrs - 12.29 hrs
TG2772 Suvarnabhumi – Phuket 13.29 hrs - 14.49 hrs

• Suvarnabhumi – Phuket – Suvarnabhumi
- Utilizing Boeing 747-400 aircraft, capable of accommodating total 375 seats: 10 First Class / 40 Business Class / 325 Economy Class.

TG1881 Suvarnabhumi – Phuket 09.19 hrs - 10.39 hrs
TG1882 Phuket – Suvarnabhumi 11.29 hrs - 12.59 hrs

The first commercial flights to Suvarnabhumi Airport will allow passengers from Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket to travel via Suvarnabhumi Airport on July 29, 2006, with special prices as follows:

Suvarnabhumi – Phuket 1,999 / 2,999
Phuket - Suvarnabhumi 1,999 / 2,999
Chiang Mai - Suvarnabhumi 1,999 / 2,999
Suvarnabhumi – Phuket – Don Muang 3,999 / 5,999
Chiang Mai – Suvarnabhumi/Don Muang – Chiang Mai 3,999 / 5,999

Passengers traveling on all flights to Suvarnabhumi Airport on July 29, 2006, will receive a special boarding pass and a certificate from THAI as souvenirs to mark the special occasion.

In addition, THAI has offered a special 2 days / 1 night “Euarng Luang” package for passengers departing from Chiang Mai or Phuket, for 4,999 baht. This price includes air ticket, transportation, accommodation with breakfast. Royal Orchid Plus members traveling with this package are able to accumulate mileage from this travel.
