Gulf Air extends Online Booking to Kuwait

Travel News Asia Monday, 17 July 2006

The online 'Booking Engine' at Gulf Air's website has been upgraded to accept online bookings from Kuwait to anywhere on the airline's network.

Customers can now book tickets and complete transactions – all online using the booking engine.

"Gulf Air has been expanding, extending and upgrading its facilities with the sole aim – to offer the best possible service to its discerning customers," said Lars Denlew, Head of Distribution and E-Commerce.

"By providing alternate means of ticket booking such as online booking Gulf Air is able to service its customers more efficiently and, passengers also find these options more convenient."

Gulf Air Vice President Network Fareed Al Alawi said that with a total of 21 flights from Kuwait to Bahrain every week since May 2006, customers now have excellent onward connections to Europe and other continents from its two hubs - Bahrain and Oman.

"We have been witnessing a steady growth in our passenger traffic between Kuwait and Bahrain in the recent months. Our recently announced summer schedule offers more non-stop and direct services to popular destinations such as London and Paris this summer," Mr Al Alawi said.
